The AHIMA polls open on June 4, 2012 at 12:00 a.m. CT – June 22, 2012 11:59 p.m. CT. Let’s plan to make voting history for the association!

Monday, May 21st, the Candidate Community opens so that you can interact with the ballot candidates. It will be open remain open until Friday, June 1st, 2012 - 5:00 p.m. CT. If you have been a member of this community in the past, you will again see it under My Communities when it opens. If not, to join the Candidate Community, you just have to follow these simple steps.

CalOHII Launch of Privacy Webpage: Privacy 360

The California Office of Health Information Integrity (CalOHII) has launched a webpage dedicated to better informing Californians of their rights and responsibilities when it comes to their health information, as well as the role of electronic health information exchanges in transmitting patients health information. The Privacy 360 webpage offers patients and providers information, FAQs, links to informative video clips, news items, and state and federal laws on the privacy and security of health information.

Formerly known as Health Information & Technology Week, HIP Week will run from March 25 through March 31 and this year’s event is themed, “Managing Health Information for Life.”
