Welcome to the California Health Information Association

New Users: Take a moment to select the proper link below to create a user profile. 

If you are new member of AHIMA and this is the first time you have engaged with CHIA, create a new profile and include your new AHIMA membership card. Upon verification of your AHIMA Membership status and approval of your CHIA profile request, you will be granted access to some member-only areas on our site.

AHIMA members who designate California as their state association are encouraged to upgrade to CHIA membership. CHIA membership provides a platform for health information professionals to discover new networking opportunities, innovative HI pathways and life-long partnerships that make a difference in your career.  For your nominal investment you receive discounted leading-edge member-driven education programs, online subscription to the CHIA Journal and more. Please select one of the following member types to create your new user profile.  

Please allow up to five business days for new user profiles to be approved for access. If you are trying to register for a specific event, contact us for assistance.

Non-member customers must create a new user profile using the link below to manage event registration, on-demand products and other CHIA purchases. Once you have created your account you will need to verify your email in order to gain access to your account.

Important for current CHIA members, AHIMA members or recently joined AHIMA members:

Only current AHIMA and CHIA members were moved into this new system. As a current member a new profile has been established. The system and website are new but your username remains as your preferred email with CHIA. If you have joined AHIMA within the past week, you may also already be established and your username will be assigned as your AHIMA preferred email address.

For security purposes, in lieu of assigning users the same temporary password, please enter your username and select reset my password. The system will prompt you through the next steps. “Sign In” to review and update your profile where necessary, to ensure we have the correct information to communicate with you.
