CHIA Delegates Attend AHIMA24 in Salt Lake City | Bylaw Amendments = Work in Progress
Bylaw Changes at the National Level Continue to Evolve through the Legal Process
CHIA’s delegates to AHIMA attended the annual House of Delegates meeting on October 27th in Salt Lake City. Dr. Kevin Klauer, AHIMA CEO, and Mona Calhoun, AHIMA President, provided an overview of AHIMA’s activities. Delegates voted on several proposed bylaw amendments; however, amendments under review by AHIMA’s Legal Counsel were presented with recommendations just two days before the meeting. As a result, delegates voted to postpone the final vote on those amendments to a future date. Stay tuned for updates.
