CHIA Chasing Points to LEAD the Component Association Competition for AHIMA
AHIMA has endorsed HR3514 / S1816, the reintroduced, bipartisan, Improving Seniors' Timely Access to Care Act, to establish a standard process and increased transparency for prior authorization use with Medicare Advantage (MA) plans among other provisions. Please write to your members of Congress and ask them to support this legislation.
Remember....CHIA’s advocacy efforts support and contribute to AHIMA’s grassroots component association competition, where California’s HI leaders through CHIA, are challenging each other to make a difference as the LEADing Component Association. - Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Certification AND
- Baccalaureate and/or Master's degree in a Healthcare, Health Informatics, or Business-related field; AND
- 3+ years of experience in health information management or health informatics
